My passion for game design was ignited by Game Jams. My first was Ludum Dare 58 with a team of fellow beginners. Though we raced against the clock, the process of bringing Negativeself to life—a psychological adventure with a shifting art style and pivotal choices—taught me the raw joy and challenge of game creation. It's a far-from-perfect but unforgettable first chapter.
Now, I'm fully immersed in my second jam, the Epic MegaJam 2025, and it's a completely new experience. I'm collaborating with a team of seasoned developers on The Last Gig, Again, a music-based game where you manage a beginner synthwave band. Our goal is to make the music a core mechanic; the original soundtrack dynamically shifts from a polished mix to chaotic static based on the player's choices. Alongside this project, I'm leveling up my technical skills in Unreal Engine 5, excited to see where this journey takes me next.
